Learn more about the 2018 Kia Sorento trim levels and discover which version of this incredible SUV is right for you.
L
The base level L Sorento comes with some features you might not expect from a standard trim. The 2.4-liter I-4 engine offers an impressive 181 horsepower and is the most efficient engine option earning an EPA-estimated 21 MPG city and 28 MPG highway1. Only cloth seats are available here, but they come standard with YES Essentials Fabric Treatment. Bluetooth® and heated outside mirrors also come standard.
LX
Go up to the LX trim, and you can enjoy a lower profile with a silver finish adding to the aesthetics of your Sorento. You’ll also find roof rails standard on the outside and USB ports standard on the inside. This trim also includes a rear-camera display to make backing up easier.
LX V6
While the name may suggest this trim is simply the LX with a V6 in it, it actually offers a bit more. The 3.3-liter V6 is notable, as it produces an incredible 290 horsepower and a 3,500-pound towing capacity. Aside from the engine, you also get auto folding and sliding second row seats with a 50/50 split third row.
EX 2.0T and V6
The EX trim comes in two basic versions, and the 2.0T version features a turbocharged I-4 engine offering 240 horsepower. For added luxury, leather seats and dual-zone automatic climate control come standard here. Push Button Start with smart key technology premiers here as well. This time, the EX V6 is exactly the same as the EX 2.0T with the exception of the engine.
SX
The V6 is a given at this point, so you’re going to be good on power. The SX does expand on interior comfort though with the panoramic sunroof with power sunshade. For your convenience, the SX also includes a smart power liftgate.
SX Limited
This is the top trim available for the Sorento featuring everything in all other trims and then some. If you need driver assistance features, they’re all standard here. Autonomous Emergency Braking and the Surround View Monitor are just a few that work to keep you and your passengers safe.
