Kia Carnival MPV LX Trim
This is the base trim and from what everything else will be built from. The powerful 3.5L V6 engine achieves 290 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. You’ll also have access to a maximum towing capacity of 3,500 pounds. It is coupled with an 8-speed automatic transmission which provides smooth shifting.
For the safety features of this trim and others, we have the Kia Drive Wise Driver Assist Technology suite, which includes features such as:
- Forward Collision Avoidance-Assist with Pedestrian Detection
- Driver Attention Warning with Leading Vehicle Departure Alert
- Lane Departure Warning
- Lane Keeping Assist
- Lane Following Assist
- High Beam Assist
Additionally, more features exist like the Rear View Monitor with Dynamic Parking Guidance, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist, Parking Distance Warning Reverse, Rear Occupant Alert, and Safe Exit Assist with Power Rear Child-Safety Door Locks.
Infotainment is taken care of through the 8-inch touchscreen display that includes a rear-view monitor. Where available, Kia Connect remote connectivity is an option for further application. You’ll be able to use your smartphone of choice to connect through the integration of Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ technologies. Also, with Bluetooth® wireless tech, you can enjoy hands-free phone and audio streaming.
Kia Carnival MPV LX Seat Package Trim
This next trim is focused on providing a more comfortable and enjoyable driving experience. The first major upgrade is the introduction of a power driver’s seat with power lumbar support, helping to keep you relaxed throughout your travels. A dash of heightened luxury comes with the leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear shift knob, which also provides additional gripping surface.
The 8-passenger seating with second-row center free mode seat is great. Not only are you increasing the number of passengers, but you’re also getting a new means to accommodate them with the free mode seat. They’ll be in style with the SynTex seating trim.
Kia Carnival MPV EX Trim
This trim has enhanced infotainment features, starting with an upgrade of the display by increasing it to 12.3 inches. Again, where available, Kia Connect is now upgraded by way of adding navigation to the system. Working in tandem with this is the available navigation-based smart cruise control. With these additions, you’ll have an easier time going from route to route guided by a screen that can’t be easily ignored.
Other technological upgrades include the Passenger View and Talk. The former brings an in-cabin camera to use while the latter brings in an intercom into the cabin. Using these additions will allow you and your passengers to experience a completely different type of experience, especially when taken on long trips.
Safety features get added to here, with the enhanced auto emergency braking with junction turning and a cyclist detection feature. The added cyclist detection will be extra beneficial while city driving, where cyclists can often be found. There is also the parking distance warning – forward addition, which rounds out the earlier version of this that only included the reverse option.
Kia Carnival MPV SX Trim
The SX trim comes with a variety of upgrades and new features, like the Surround View Monitor for example. You’ll have access to views on all sides of your Kia Carnival MPV with this feature. There’s also the addition of 19-inch black alloy wheels, giving you a stylish look.
Seating comes to the fore here with a set of ventilated front seats that include upgrades to both driver’s and passenger’s seats. The memory driver’s seat gives you programmable settings while the passenger seat becomes powered.
Infotainment gets a big addition with the dual screen rear seat entertainment system. This allows your passengers to enjoy streaming features and apps independent of what’s being displayed on the driver’s display—a great feature for road trips or other long drives.
Kia Carnival MPV SX Prestige Trim
This trim is focused on luxury features. The first example is the dual power tilting and sliding sunroofs. It continues with the leather seating trim on the heated and ventilated second-row seats. The seating upgrades keep going with a now 7-passenger seating with second-row VIP lounge seats, giving them a fine degree of comfort and luxury.
Here, you’ll get access to the 12-speaker Bose premium audio system to enjoy your music in a brand-new way. There is also an upgrade to the dashboard in the 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster. Lastly, you’ll also have access to the Blind View Monitor, giving you the advantage of being able to see what’s in your blind spot and making appropriate maneuvers.
