The Forte is available with Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ smartphone integration, which allows you to connect your compatible device to the onboard system and the UVO eServices suite. With this feature, you can navigate to your destination, receive texts, make calls, and much more, all without taking your hands off the wheel.
To complement this feature, the Forte offers a wireless phone charging pad for the center console to ensure your phone is always charged and ready to provide you with music and information. There’s also a voice-command navigation feature, which uses the large, crisp touchscreen and UVO eServices to give you destination information, turn-by-turn directions, traffic updates from SiriusXM® Traffic, and much more.
The Forte can be equipped with an array of advanced safety features that operate with cameras and sensors to help keep you safe and protected on the road. Standard Forward-Collision Avoidance Assist works independently of drivers and applies the brakes in certain situations to prevent a frontal collision. This feature works with Forward-Collision Warning, which detects road hazards in advance and provides audible and visual alerts to help prevent an accident.
Smart Cruise Control is another helpful feature that’s optional for the Forte. Offering convenience and safety, this feature uses radar systems to maintain a predetermined distance between your vehicle and the vehicle ahead, to stay with the flow of traffic.
Blind-Spot Collision Warning is also available, which helps to increase your awareness by alerting you with an indicator light on the exterior mirrors if vehicles approach your blind spot. This feature is complemented by Lane Change Assist, which warns you if it detects vehicles approaching your vehicle from behind, and Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning, a system that detects vehicles or objects in your rear path and alerts you with a light and warning sound.
Lane Departure Warning is helpful for highway driving, as it monitors your position in your lane and provides an audible alert if your Forte drifts from its lane. The Lane Keep Assist feature aids the Lane Departure Warning feature by applying corrective steering if it senses a drift into a nearby lane.
