2019 Kia Stinger Trim Levels

When you have your eye on the new Kia Stinger for your adventures cruising on the streets of Louisville, KY; Elizabethtown, KY; and Clarksville, IN, you’re headed in the right direction. This sleek and stylish Kia sports sedan offers a lot, but in order to get everything you want in your next Kia car, you’ll want to consider the new Kia Stinger trim levels, which vary in features, engines, and even style.

At The Kia Store, we’re here to help by delving in and taking a closer look at the Stinger trims, so you can get a sense of how they differ and figure out which one is suitable for you.

Kia Stinger GT-Line

2022 Kia Stinger GT Line 360The Kia Stinger GT-Line trim is the standard base trim, so it comes with features that the next two available trims build upon. This trim comes equipped with a turbocharged 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine that’s further modified by the inclusion of Double Overhead Camshafts (DOHC) with four valves per cylinder. This engine generates 300 horsepower with 311 lb-ft of torque.

Additional features in this trim include UVO link with a 10.25-inch touchscreen display and navigation system, which is a universal feature across all trim levels, as is the compatibility of Android Auto™, Apple CarPlay®, and Bluetooth® wireless technology with voice recognition. In addition, this trim and the next include a 9-speaker sound system.

Kia Stinger GT1

The GT1 trim builds upon its predecessor by upgrading the engine option. This trim comes equipped with a twin-turbocharged 3.3-liter V6 engine with a similar DOHC four valves per cylinder drivetrain. This engine upgrade allows you to achieve 368 horsepower and 376 lb-ft of torque. This trim is also where we begin to see new features, like the limited-slip differential, which evenly distributes power to the rear wheels under certain road conditions.

Like the previous trim, the GT1 trim has a Rear-Camera Display with Dynamic Guidelines. Another feature in this trim is the Parking Distance Warning, Rear, which uses a sonar sensor system to detect obstacles, and if one is detected, the system will send out an audible warning. Additionally, this trim has leather seats, as well as a 12-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with 4-way power lumbar support.

Kia Stinger GT2

2022 Kia Stinger GT 2 360The GT2 trim is the highest trim level in the lineup and comes with many impressive features. It shares the upgraded engine of the GT1 trim, which means you can rely on its power to get you around town. In addition, it excels in offering luxury features. For example, it comes equipped with a Harman Kardon® QuantumLogic™ Premium Audio with Clari-Fi™ system that’s supplied with 720 watts and 15 speakers.

There are also unique features, such as the Surround View Monitor, which uses real-time images from four cameras to give you the best view in parking and low-speed maneuvers. The Parking Distance Warning, Front & Rear is an upgrade from previous trims, as it now includes front-end support. Then, there is the Shift-by-Wire Gear Selector, which allows for quick gear shifting for increased convenience.
