If you’re a driver near Louisville, Kentucky, Elizabethtown, Kentucky, or Clarksville, Indiana, you know that having a mode of transportation that allows you to make use of All Wheel Drive (AWD) comes in handy.
That is why the team of experts here at The Kia Store has provided you with the following rundown of Kia vehicles with AWD. In addition to presenting you with a list of these fine Kia cars, we’ve also included a few attributes for each one. Continue reading to find out which of them has what it takes to be your next set of wheels.

First up is the Kia Sorento. This model has a lot to offer in terms of its performance capabilities. The Sorento has two engines for you to choose from to fit in with your lifestyle:
The 2.4-liter engine comes standard under the hood of the Sorento. It provides you with a solid output of 185 horsepower. The available 3.3-liter V6 boasts 290 horsepower. No matter which one you end up choosing, you can be confident that you’ll be able to hold your own while you’re making your way from Point A to Point B.
On top of its explosive power, the Sorento is available with Dynamax™ Full-Time All-Wheel Drive. This robust system uses electronic sensors to keep track of road conditions. Then, this system sends the necessary power to the appropriate wheels to keep the Sorento nice and stable throughout your travels.

The Kia Sportage also has two possible engines:
As the standard offering, the 2.4-liter engine supplies you with plenty of oomph via its commanding 181 horsepower. The available 2.0-liter engine has you covered with a maximum output of 237 horsepower.
If you’re planning on using the Kia Sportage to pull a camper or ATV trailer to your favorite camping spots, you’ll be happy to know that it’s got you covered with a towing capacity of up to 1,653 pounds without trailer brakes and 2,000 pounds with trailer brakes.
For additional stability, Locking Center Differential is included with the available Dynamax™ All-Wheel Drive to provide you with more low-speed traction for when road conditions are particularly poor.

The Kia Telluride is next. Its sole engine is a 3.8-liter V6 that can generate as much as 291 horsepower. This ride has what it takes to help you face whatever challenges are likely to come your way.
The Telluride is available with Active On-Demand All-Wheel Drive with AWD Lock and Snow Mode. Like the Dynamax™ system, the Active On-Demand All-Wheel Drive utilizes sensors to monitor conditions to determine which wheels need the most help. The difference here is in the driver-activated AWD Lock and Snow Mode, which kicks in to give you optimal traction when you need it the most.

With the Kia Seltos, we return to having two possibilities in the engine department. Choose from one of the following engines:
The standard 2.0-liter engine can produce up to 146 horsepower, while the available 1.6-liter engine can generate up to 175 horsepower. Whether you’re climbing up a set of switchbacks on the side of a mountain or cutting through rush-hour traffic, both of these offerings are up for the job.
Now that you know a little bit more about each of the above models, you’re more equipped to choose the one that best suits your priorities. If you live or work near Clarksville, IN, Elizabethtown, KY, or Louisville, KY, contact The Kia Store to set up a good day and time to take some test drives.
